The Auroras
Daily Photo – The Auroras
I hope you all enjoyed last week’s Aurora craziness! Seeing all the excitement online reminded me of my first Aurora experience. I’d spent a bunch of time trying to see them in Iceland (unsuccessfully) and in fact it was the Aurora Australis that I first saw, down here in Queenstown. Here’s a shot from that night…
One Extra Nudge
One final AI creation for now, of which you can see many more over on my AI specific IG. I did say it gets pretty weird over there…
The Queenstown Approach
Daily Photo – The Queenstown Approach
Late one evening near dusk we headed up towards the top of the Remarkables. It’s kind of a dangerous spot to take photos because there are steep drop-offs on both sides. The view up there is amazing, though. I think it’s cool to watch the planes land there at the airport from way above. I heard the pilots have to have special training to land here because they have to spiral down between the huge mountains for a unique approach vector.
Another Imagination
Here’s another of my recent AI experiments. See more over at my AI account on Insta…
My AI Experiments
I’m working through a few projects at the moment and exploring some things that may or may not turn into other projects. One of these is a continued experimentation with AI. If you haven’t been over to my AI insta account recently, please do check it out. I tend to lean towards the fantastical and surreal so it’s pretty wild in there! 😀
Itchy Ski People
Daily Photo – Itchy Ski People
With it being autumn here in Queenstown there have been a few snow flurries in the last little while. I’m sure everyone who like a bit of the Queenstown winter sports action is starting to get a bit itchy for some action whenever the peaks start to get a covering! This is actually a fun photo from my recent workshop down here in Queenstown. On the last night, I was going to take everyone to my favorite ponds for shooting at dusk, but the driver said, “No, you should come to MY ponds, they are way better!” So, I went with the universe, and, sure enough, they were better! 🙂
